What is th best thing for adult acne?

I'm 25 and just developed acne i've tried everything face scrubs, clarasil.natures cure ,tazoracprescribed from dr.,benzilclin also from adr. what else? It's embarrassing

What is th best thing for adult acne?
Nothing topical worked for me that I could buy at the store. Not even Proactive...which everyone kept telling me to try. I had really bad cystic acne caused by Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, which I only found out that I had after going the the doctor for my adult acne. Anyway, the dermatologist started doing what are called Beta peels on me. They control the sebum (nasty sticky oil that creates clogged pores) that your skin secretes. I also got some laser done for the small amount of scarring that my acne caused and I have a beautiful face now. Even the doctor is amazed. I was getting the peels every 6 weeks but I have not had one for about 4 months now and I am just now starting to break out again so I will make an appointment to go back. My dermatologist charges $100 per peel. Expensive but when you have adult acne like mine was, it is so worth it! Don't be discouraged if the first one doesn't work that well, they will increase the strength until they find the one that works best. Good luck!

Also try getting a hot wet towel and pressing it on your face every day. In a few weeks, you will see changes!

Reply:topical antibiotic....tetracycline, you get this from a dermatologist....also a visit to your OBGYN, your hormones are probably the cause...then I know a few who used proactive that helped them

Or if proactive is to expnsive then you can go to Walmart, of CVS, or somewear like that and get Acne Free, It is ALOT like proactive..





Another good thing is wash your face with very HOT water, and then when u dry your face then put VERY VERY cold water on your face, it will help close you pores!!!

Reply:I had the same problem. Never had a problem with acne til I hit 22. I'm 26 now and found that Pro-Activ works best for me. It's a little pricey, but I don't really care what the price is if I don't look like I'm 14. You can buy it online! Good luck!!!!

Reply:consult the doctor first before you apply any kind of cream. some cream can give u allergic reactions.
