Hi, I actually read this really good article about natural ways to treat acne, you'll find more useful information there I'm sure:

Reply:There are no home remedies. Have you tried medications at the drug store that contain salicylic acid 2%? That is THE best for adult acne. Stay away from Benzoil peroxide. That is for oily teenage-skin and make adult skin too dry, red and more prone to break-outs.
Reply:A clove or two a day of crushed raw garlic works for me. Stir it into food after the food is cooked. You can't eat garlic by itself cuz it will burn your mouth and gastrointestinal tract.
Reply:I've heard lots of good things about a product called Pro-Active. I don't think it's that expensive...and it's worth it.
Reply:None that I know of... I have adult acne also.
Reply:I put toothpaste on the problem areas and let it sit for about 20 minutes. It stings a little but I think it helps a lot. Don't forget to rinse it off with hot water after the twenty minutes. It doesn't make it go away right away but it will reduce the noticebility(idk if that is a word), and eventually go away. It has worked for me it might be different in your case though.

(Use the strong mint flavored type not the sweet little kid type.)
Reply:Have you tried Tea Tree Oil? After washing with a sensitive skin cleanser like olay or dove, and using witchhazel as an anticeptic, rub the tea tree oil vigorously on your skin and leave it on.

Only use petrolium jelly if you get dry. Make sure your shampoo and conditioner are pH balanced.

Take a multivitamin without iodine, fiber pills, alpha lipoic acid and omega 3 fatty acid every day with plenty of water.

Try to cut down on you caffeine, sugar and dairy intake.

Try some glycolic acid peels sold in the drug stores twice a week.

If you don't see improvement, you may need to go to the dermatologist, they can prescribe a retinoid, accutane, antibiotics or orthotricyclin.
Reply:It depends on the type of acne most of the Acne that adults have are 1 or two out breaks etc, and go away with minimal treatment, if you have cystic acne, which is more like a cyst than a pimple that requires a good prescription to resolve. Wash your face twice a day and use hot water and use a topical acne medicine from the drug store, if that doesn't clear it up, stop eating greasy foods and soda pop, to much of either are known to cause acne.
Reply:use soap and a wash cloth.
Reply:i try to tell everybody to use proactive ,now it's only cost 19.99 probably last for 3 mos or more depend on how much you use them,i 've bought them for my daughter and she has been use it every since( back then i paid 49.99) ,now her face clear up ,if sometime she's stay up late to study , her face got pimples then she use it and it's clear

good luck
Reply:There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html
Reply:I use the facemaster course to maintain acne free skin. http://facemaster.net/thefacemastercours...

The author also gives away a free ebook to help those who need a fast solution to acne. Well worth getting.
