Does anyone know a way to clear up adult acne?

I am 21 and have tried everything. I have even been to the dermotologist and still haven't been able to clear it up. It's not terrible but it's just enough that it's noticable.

Does anyone know a way to clear up adult acne?
Take zinc supplements everyday. This is a new study dermatologist did. Your acne will clear up in 3 months or less.
Reply:have you tried aveeno? you should stick with products for at least 1 year because they take 6 months to give you results

drink water and exercise so blood and oxygen reach the face
Reply:I am 21 too and have blotchy skin, but for the past month I have been using natures cure it really works! I had tried everything to, and its only like $10 for 30days, you should get it!
Reply:try mary kay...it's a great skin care program that can be customized for your skin and it has a fix for everything.....i use the basic skin care and for an extra acne fighter i use the blemish control toner......the eye makeup remover is great too because it is ok for acne prone skin
Reply:Neutrogena is a good over the counter line of products for acne prone skin. Make sure you're sticking to a product routine for 3-6 months though. Changing products frequently can make your acne worse.

Also, don't over wash. Morning and night is enough. I know it's tempting to wash several times a day, but this will just overdry your skin and cause more breakouts.

My final suggestion isn't for everyone, but . . . quit wearing make-up. Lip gloss and mascara are okay, but don't put anything else on your face. Your pores need to breathe, and even non-comdegeneic make-up still gave me problems. Once I stopped wearing make-up my skin got so much better.
Reply:An excellent remedy for pimples or acne-prone skin can be made by mixing 1 teaspoon ground cloves with 2 tablespoons fullers earth and ice water. When you wash your face, use sugar to scrub it, at least once a day, for two weeks to rid yourself of acne. Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.

the following 2 testimonials can be seen at http://www.earthclinic.com/cures/acne.ht...

Angelina O, has found that applying ACV topically to her face several times a day (4 or more times) has cured her of a "very bad complexion". She reports that she applies it straight and that while it burns her skin a bit, it still works like a miracle!

Cheryl writes, "My daughter developed a case of moderate acne, and after trying a number of different things for over a year which helped very little or not at all, she started drinking 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar three times a day and applying it topically once at night. She has been acne free for two months. It took about three weeks to clear up."

to drink, add to water and honey, or to apple juice.
